The Vikings Group Supports Appledrive Project in Payatas

The Vikings Group Supports Appledrive Project in Payatas_1

Give. Educate. Inspire. This is the core advocacy of The Apple-drive Project as a way to educate indigent kids in both rural and urban areas in the country to advocate a healthier lifestyle by eating apples instead of candies or chocolates.

The project goes out to communities to promote good personal hygiene and an overall improved way of life through activities like book reading, medical missions and feeding programs and more.

Recently, THE VIKINGS GROUP of restaurants namely Vikings Luxury Buffet, Niu by Vikings and Four Seasons Buffet and Hotpot extended a helping hand to this program during the activity held at the Payatas Elementary School where the company shared food to the children who benefited from this undertaking.

Vikings Wins Asia Excellence Brand Award in Hong Kong

Vikings Luxury Buffet, the Largest Buffet Restaurant in the Philippines recently won its first international award presented this December at the Grand Harbor Hotel in North Point, Hong Kong. The prestigious award to Vikings bested other companies from Hong Kong, China, Singapore and other Southeast Asian countries.

The Yazhou Zhoukan Asia Excellence Brand Award 2015 was proudly received by Vikings Managing Director Jackson Go and Vikings Marketing Director Charles Stewart Lee in a grand awards night in Hong Kong.

In receiving the award, Vikings’ Charles Stewart Lee expressed the honor with pride receiving the award for the Philippines Largest Buffet Restaurant. We did not expect to be here since we only started in April 2011 and it is extremely heart-warming to see what the company has achieved through the years, Lee said.

He mentioned his deep appreciation to the loyal customers and suppliers for constantly supporting the company’s venture and expansions and the constant feedbacks from its customers on how to improve further the service.

In an ambush interview in Hong Kong, Lee again stated his company’s surprise of winning the award as Vikings was up against larger companies from the different regions of the world. Asked on the brand strategy of the company, Lee mentions of the company’s offering high quality food and service within a hotel ambience at a competitive rate. Throughout the years the company constantly listens to what the customers want it to improve on.

The company sees to it that the customers are given a new taste of the brand by offering different interiors and different menu per branch so that they have a reason to visit all of our stores and it has given the brand a personality that no other buffet restaurants in the country has done which is to give it an image of “feast”, Lee emphasized.

As to the future business plans of the company, it is looking at expanding some of its existing brands like Vikings and NIU by Vikings in other regions in the Philippines with untapped market. The international expansion in China and some Southeast Asian countries are also in the drawing board as well as franchising new brands abroad to bring into the Philippines, Lee concluded in the interview.

FOUR SEASONS HOTPOT and BUFFET in CUBAO: Experience like no other.

Two things that really made the food scene better are buffet restos and hotpots. They let you pick from a lot of choices on what to eat and you only pay a fraction of the price. FOUR SEASONS BUFFET and HOTPOT in CUBAO just fits the bill as it combines the two. Best of both worlds.

I found myself driving around the ARANETA area looking for this new place to try out. Located in MANHATTAN PARKVIEW on General Roxas Avenue in CUBAO, FOUR SEASONS HOTPOT and BUFFET is definitely a must visit so I went for it. Pay parking is spacious and is located at the basement of the same building so no worries for drivers like me.

Four Seasons Hotpot City: Your Fresh and Healthy Choice Buffet

When In Manila, buffets, eat-all-you-cans have been sprouting all over the city.  It must be the love of Pinoys to eat and find a reason to celebrate that’s behind all these gastronomic restaurants.  But then again, it comes to a point where you feel all of them are the same, and it starts piling up on the cholesterol and calorie levels.

Four Seasons Hotpot City located right behind Mall of Asia, could just be your next eat-all-you-can stop, on a healthier level.  And you know its going to be good food because it comes from the Viking group (the ones who brought you Vikings Luxury Buffet and NIU by Vikings).

Four Seasons: Hot Pot in the City

From the people behind Vikings and Niu comes Four Seasons Hotpot City, which sits along the seaboard of the famed Manila Bay. The inviting scent of the savoury broths fill the air of the restaurant that offers the freshest of both dry land and seafood fare cooked hot-pot style.

The bright and airy space resembles a lavish modern market, with each section marked with an overhead label reminiscent of a supermarket signage. The ceiling is adorned with black metal baskets among light bulbs, which add to the unique appeal of the dining area. The decision to have the place look like an upscale supermarket was not merely an aesthetic choice, since the appearance is a nod to the farm-to-table concept of the restaurant.

Father's Day Celebration at SM By the Bay

My son Dylan wanted to give his dad a gift for Father’s Day:

Aryanna: I’ve got a Father’s Day surprise!
Tom: Cool.
Dylan: I’ve got a Father’s Day surprise too! Right, mom?
Me: Huh? You do?
Dylan: Yeah, mom!
Me: Oh! Yeah…
Tom: Ooh… I’m getting two surprise gifts!

A way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Since Dylan wanted to surprise his dad, he and I decided to go to SM by the Bay for a buffet lunch with his dad as an advance Father’s Day gift. Eating is always a good idea for my boys, and not just eating, but eating a lot and different varieties of food! I don’t understand how boys can eat so much all the time!

SM by the Bay is the Premier Lifestyle and Leisure Hub located at the SM Mall of Asia Complex and it features a variety of restaurants that offer different experiences and cuisines for different man needs— and by needs, I mean food!
